Dear my fellow smart people,I need you on my side. Lately, I've been getting some backlash about being a rapper. People have been saying things like, "Why?", "Yea you're talented, but you're smart." I guess what I'm saying is that for some reason, people don't think that "smart" people should be artists. Have "they" (whoever they are) literally stolen music from us? Music is one of the most powerful forces in history and some of the most influential people in life have been artists (i.e. Michael Jackson, Bob Marley). So why can't an intelligent person be an artist? I have a lot to say and I'm not in this for the wrong reasons. I'm in this to influence people's lives in a positive way. Music is my platform. This is politics. We can't let them STEAL music from us...I NEED YOU ALL ON MY SIDE!!!ONE LOVE-MEKKA

ROGER CLEMENS*
Senator Mitchell's Report on steroids in Baseball came out yesterday and SEVERAL current and former players were named in the report as users of steroids. At first glance, as a lawyer, my first inclination was that all the "evidence" was circumstantial at best and what we call HEARSAY. Without the ability to confront their accusers, cross examine them, and see if they potentially had ulterior motives, the report isn't that meaningful on an individual level. However, I do believe that there is widespread steroid use.If Barry Bonds gets an asterisk, so does Roger Clemens...I guess the question I have is; how much do steroids really help? Also, if steroid use is so prevalent in Baseball, how can you be sure who used and who didn't use? If you can't, then how can ANY records or accomplishments not be given asterisks?

WEEKEND REVIEW
WEEKEND REVIEW
What a great weekend! Saturday was a historical day in the studio. My girls from Trezher helped bless a couple of my songs...shout out to my producers, The Lazy Boyz. Wait til you hear my new joints (taking my time with the mixing). In addition to music history on Saturday, Ohio State also was blessed to have both teams ahead of them lose, so THE Ohio State University will be playing in the National Title game against LSU on January 7th in New Orleans...see you there...Go Bucks! OH...Sunday was also a great day (BOO however to the Redskins for not being able to honor Sean Taylor the right way with a win!). It looks like I will be getting involved with a Nonprofit organization that is trying to raise money to help kids in Darfur. One of the things I'll be involved with is helping to produce a song on the issue, touring and performing it with the singer, HRS Princess, and helping to raise money and awareness. We had a meeting about it yesterday and it's very exciting. Our people are struggling, and although we can't be Superman, we all can still do something...It's Monday now so get back to work!!
