IS YOUR COMPUTER SLOWER THAN WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT?

I hate my computer. I have bad habits such as, leaving it on and leaving multiple windows open all the time. One of my computers recently crashed and the new one is probably going to head there soon. I hate when I buy a brand new computer and a year later it is extremely slow. I always thought it had something to do with viruses and spyware but I guess it is the registry database.
