JOSH CHILDRESS LEAVES NBA FOR GREECE?

Another sign that we better shape up our economy. Josh Childress is leaving the Atlanta Hawks as a free agent and signing with a professional team in Greece. Why would any American basketball player give up the bright lights of the NBA for Greece? It comes down to the bottom line money. The dollar's 14% inflation this past year led to the euro gaining tremendous leverage. Josh's contract will be 3 years and a post tax total of $20 Million. He also has the option to opt out each year and return to the NBA. This is big news because Josh Childress may not be your Lebron James superstar but he is still a very good NBA player with a bright future. He also had pretty good market demand making this move surprising. I do appluad Josh for thinking outside the box business wise and making the best financial decision for himself. It seems part of his decision was also to give himself the opportunity to experience life from a different perspective. The concernfor the NBA is if this starts to become a growing trend. David Stern better accelerate the NBA's international expansion or we might face a serious problem.
