Q: What is your name?

My full Christian name is Michael Paul Valentine lol.

Q: So Mike, where are you from?

I’m from Cleveland, Ohio, but, I was raised in the bad part of Euclid (Willo Arms).lol

Q: What college(s) did you attend and what was your major?

Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. My major was Finance.

Q: What is your primary occupation?

Expert Business Plan Writer/ Packager. My work speaks for me.

Q: What advice would you give to a young person who wants to pursue the same career?

I would highly recommend my field to anyone who is serious about making a difference in their city’s business environment. It can be lucrative and there is not a ton of competition if you are great at what you do… like me :). I would also recommend that they call the master first.lol.

Q: What other business interests do you have?

Now don’t get me wrong… I have worked on hundreds of projects and I have assisted scores of clients with some great ideas that have become some pretty phenomenal ventures. But, regardless of how attractive some things are, I just want to continue to improve my game. Plus, I’m in way too deep. My passion lies in helping people sort out their grand money making ideas. I get a lot of joy out of being highly sought after professional. At the end of the day… I just want to be that guy. I love what I do and I’m tight at it.

Q: Wow! that is a great that you found your niche so early on, and it leads nicely into the next question. What are your financial goals?

I’m kinda weird actually. I just want to have enough money where I don’t run out lol. I want to also buy some fa’ real freedom. What I mean by that is that I just want to throw away my watches and move somewhere off the coast of the USA and grow dreads, raise a beautiful family, and learn how to really really fish. I’ll invite you guys to dinner. I promise:).

Q: Name two people who you admire or have influenced you?

I would have to say first and foremost my late great mother Lola Morgan-Valentine has been such a major influence on me that she is my #1 and my #2 influence. She was a gangsta! I use to get whooped everyday growing up I swear. The whoopens did not stop at my house.lol. But, when I was old enough to understand… she taught me business. My first entrepreneurial experience was when I was 5yrs old when my father had come home from work with like a ton of hangers one day. I remember my mom giving me and my little sister the best baths ever that day. As we got dressed, she assembled the hangers into little bundles and was even able to create labels for each bundle as well (this is the eighties by the way). Hustla! She cleaned out my little sister’s wagon and stacked the hangers what had seemed to be a mile high to me at that time. She then ordered us to go out and sell each and every last bundle. And she told us to not come back home without any money.lol. We made a killn’ that day. I was hooked on biz from that day on. My mother was very creative and was always making money. She use to sell Avon like a beast! She use to throw illegal card games and take everybody’s money all through the night just so her Mike Mike could pick out all the Polo shirts he wanted at May Company the next day. My father is my #2 influence. I got my blue collar work ethic from him.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to be alone and do creative things like write and take really long walks in the park with my hands behind my back like Eddie Murphy in Boomerang.lol
