When we got word that Bossip and 24wired.tv were interested in interviewing Mekka Don, we were a little weary at first, despite the obvious potential visibility it provided. Knowing the reputation the site had for tabloid journalism, we were wondering if they were just looking to make fun of Mekka's story of going from corporate law to becoming a rapper. However, as we got more information about the interview, the people to be conducting the interview, and the platform it would provide the weariness quickly turned to enthusiasm. Woke up this morning to find out that we were chosen for their "Fresh Fridays" segment and that the interview had created a nice buzz on twitter, facebook, and on their sites. Of course the internet gangsters came out to a degree to hate, but we also gained a lot of new supporters. Shout out to both 24wired.tv and Bossip.com for the opportunity,and a thank you for the exposure it's created. Keep in the loop with Mekka Don as we move toward the 06/12 release of the "IT'S ON" Mixtape.
